CNC Oil Country Lathes
The Vanguard S1 series of CNC oil country lathes are designed primarily for threading the ends of oil country tubular goods such as drill pipe, drill collars, casing joints and other small to medium diameter tubular products. They are also suited for the turning of external surfaces and tapered cylinders. The large spindle bore and double chucks, along with a single-piece bed structure and inlaid steel guideways, makes the S1 series of lathes very rigid and stable. These lathes are well suited for heavy cutting in high strength materials and for use in high production operations.
