Conventional Vertical Turret Mills

The Vanguard series of conventional vertical turret mills are designed and built to meet the milling needs of job shops and small manufacturing operations. The base components are heat treated and stress-relieved high quality Meehanite cast iron, designed for strength and minimal deformation during operation. These mills feature wide saddle structures for stability and support, precise X and Y leadscrews with double nut compensators to eliminate backlash, and anti-friction Turcite-B coating on the slideways for smooth operation. The column and cross slideways come in two configurations, either a dovetail shape or box shaped, depending on the model. Optional 3 and 5 horsepower heads are available for greater flexibility in milling applications.
